Which EVNEX?

All four are the same family. The E2 range is 7.4 kW for single-phase homes. The X22 is 22 kW and needs three-phase power.

Which charger do you have?

The brand and model is on the box or the front of the unit. It tells Marcus the current it draws and the safety switch it needs.

Where will your charger be installed?

The quote is for this house. Marcus also checks how far it is from his usual run.

Is the house single phase or three phase?

Most Adelaide homes are single phase. Three phase is what a 22 kW charger needs.

What type of home do you have?

It changes how the cable can run and who has to say yes.

Where do you want your charger?

Where the car parks, on the side its charge port is on.

How far is that from the switchboard?

Roughly, the way the cable would run, not as the crow flies.

How would the cable get there?

Roof or floor space Marcus can get into makes for a tidy, hidden run.

Solar or a home battery?

Some chargers can run on spare solar, and a battery changes which charger makes sense.

Which inverter or battery?

Optional. The brand is on the inverter box, usually near the switchboard. It decides whether a solar-charging mode will talk to your system.
