Every job Amped Up Electrical Adelaide does carries a lifetime workmanship warranty, and we handle the manufacturer warranty on the products we install. Your quote carries a short version of these terms. This page is the full set.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: to cancel your service contract with us; and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

What we warrant

Lifetime workmanship warranty

Lifetime means for as long as you own the property where the work was done. If a fault appears in how we installed, terminated or connected something, we come back and put it right.

Manufacturer warranties, handled by us

The products we supply carry their manufacturer's warranty, and your consumer guarantees above. If a product fails, we make the manufacturer's claim on your behalf. You do not have to chase anyone.

Our condition: the installation is maintained

This is our condition for the lifetime workmanship warranty. The installation must be maintained, including periodic inspection and tightening of terminations in line with normal electrical practice.

You do not have to use us for this. Any licensed electrician may carry out the maintenance. We are happy to do it if you ask, but the warranty does not depend on who you choose.

Defects caused by a lack of maintenance of the installation
Defects caused by another party altering the work

What we do: we assess it and repair a workmanship fault at no cost to you, including our travel. Claiming costs you nothing.
